WHAT IS THE Ascendance Games Content Creator Program

Ascendance Game’s enables Creators to earn money by creating content for Impulse, Ascendance Games believes that Creators are an essential part of building communities around awesome games. We recognize how important Creators of all kinds have been to our success, so we built this program to share in that success.

We’re looking for Creators that focus on the quality of the moments they make and share, the communities they build, and the love they have for the games they play.

WHERE CAN I CHANGE MY CREATOR CODE?

You’ll select your Creator Code during the signup process for the Ascendance Game’s program.

You can change your Creator Code without contacting Player Support, through the Ascendance Game’s tools in the Ascendance Games Account Management page.

You can navigate to the Ascendance Games Account Management page directly, via ascendancegames.com, by clicking the Profile in the top right corner, selecting Account, and then select the Ascendance Game’s tab. From there, you’ll find instructions to enter your desired new Creator Code and check that it’s available. If it meets all the requirements listed, and is available, you can lock it in right there.

After your Creator Code has been selected, you will only be able to change it once during any 12-month period.

Creator Code requirements

Your requested Creator Code must meet the following requirements:

• Must be between 3 and 16 characters.
• Must only contain alphanumeric characters, underscore (_), dash (-), or dot (.)
• Must not contain only repetitive characters (e.g., AAA or BBB)
• Must reflect Display Name or Social Media handle
• Must be consistent with the Ascendance Games Games Community Rules

HOW DO CREATORS EARN MONEY?

For Impulse, accepted Creators will earn between 5% and 10 % of in-game purchases made using their Creator Code. The 5% will be on the final amount after any discounts are applied to the purchase. This applies to all items purchased in the Impulse store except for Ascendance Credits. Players declare their support for a Impulse Content Creator on checkout when they enter your Content Creator Code.

For Ascendance Games Store Creators can share referral links on their channels or promote their Creator Code to their supporters, to get credit for sales of those items.

Regardless of the game, players can choose to support a different Creator at any time and can enter the code of the content creator they wish to support at the time of checkout.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE?

Creators (i.e., active video makers, streamers, storytellers, artists, cosplayers, musicians, and community builders) who meet the following criteria are eligible to participate:

• Are at least 13 years old
• Have 500+ followers* on at least one of the following eligible social platforms:
• YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or VK
• Are capable of accepting the Creator Agreement (either on behalf of yourself, your minor child, or the legal entity that you represent)
• Are capable of abiding by our Creator Content Guidelines
• Are capable of receiving payment via cryto currency to their personal wallets.

WHO ISN'T ELIGIBLE?

The Ascendance Game’s program is not open to individuals or entities who do not meet the eligibility requirements listed above. Creators who previously violated the Affiliate Agreement for Ascendance Game’s, which includes violations of the Ascendance Game’s Code of Conduct, and were removed from the program are not eligible to reapply or be reinstated. Additionally, the program is not open to individuals or entities in China or wherever restricted or prohibited by applicable law or in any country disallowed by Canada law. This includes, but is not limited to, individuals or entities in the Crimea region, Cuba, Eritrea, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Myanmar (Burma), North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Zimbabwe.

The Ascendance Games ecosystem and the Ascendance Game’s program celebrate diversity and hope to continue adding support for additional regions and languages over time.

WILL THIS PROGRAM MAKE CREATORS RICH?

Please expect modest results. The amount you earn scales with the gross amount that players who choose to support you spend in the store. An Impulse example: If your in-game supporters spend $100.00 after discounts in-game, then you would earn $5 USD if you were a common tier content creator. If you were an ascended content creator you would earn $10.00 on a hundred dollar ingame purchase on the discounted amount.

WHEN DO I GET PAID?

First things first: In order to receive payment, you must complete the required Tax Information and have a crypto wallet capable of accepting ERC-20.

No compensation is earned or credited to you under this program unless you earn $100 USD or more within a 12-consecutive month period. This means that if you do not meet the $100 USD compensation threshold within a period of 12 consecutive months, any attributed purchases and/or redemptions made by followers during that 12-month period will reset to zero.

Once you have been verified as an active Creator and you reach the minimum compensation threshold of $100 USD, the payout will be sent to you when you select it in your content creator menu. Payment will be made within 45 days after you ask to receive your funds in the content creator menu. You will be responsible for any associated gas fees when requesting your payment.

HOW DO I PROPERLY DISCLOSE THAT I'M IN THE PROGRAM?

DON’T FORGET! Whenever (and wherever) you promote or endorse the Ascendance Game’s Program, Impulse, Ascendance Games, the Ascendance Games Games Store, or share your Creator Code or link, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose your connection to us.

Disclosures Must Be Clear:

For your disclosure to be sufficiently “clear,” the wording must be one of the following:

• #Ad
• #Sponsored
• #AscendanceGamesPartner
• #AscendanceGamesAmbassador
• “In connection with Ascendance Games’ Program, I may receive a commission from certain in-game purchases.”

Disclosures Must Be Conspicuous:

For your disclosure to be sufficiently “conspicuous,” the disclosure options above must appear:

• In a location that consumers will easily notice, without clicking, scrolling, or hunting for it. This may vary for different outlets, for example:
• In social media posts: within the first two lines of copy (when viewed on a desktop).
• In social media stories or framed content: superimposed as text over the image/video in each and every frame, in a way that viewers can easily see during the time of the story (i.e., in a large-enough font, in a contrasting color, separate from competing or distracting text, and ideally on a solid background).
• In written or editorial content, such as a blog post: adjacent to the headline or other focal point of the content, in a font size that is at least reasonably the same size as the other content.
• In videos: within the video (at the beginning), and in the video description.
• In a live stream: repeated regularly so those who tune in later will still know.
• In every post and/or piece of content you share, not just in a profile and/or bio.
• As the first hashtag in the chain, if used in a long list of hashtags (not buried amongst others).
• In addition to a platform-specific tool. Tools provided by Facebook, Instagram, etc. may not be enough to meet these requirements.
